Quality Supervisor (Distribution)

We are seeking a Quality Supervisor to help direct and assist the quality team in obtaining efficient operation of the quality activities and maintain a customer focus (quality and on-time delivery).

  • Conduct Stocktaking / Cycle Counts and Stock Maintenance activities
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs, seek manager for heavier items
  • Process inventory, bulk deliveries, pull requests and picks during busy times
  • Safe operation of any relevant Mechanical Handling Equipment (only if trained and competent to do so)
  • Perform any departmental/equipment checks (Daily, Weekly) as requested by the Management Team
  • Maintain accurate data and records relating to the products
  • Correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Reporting of any accidents or near misses regarding warehouse/office, MHE and Manual Handling activities
  • Utilize Inventory Cycle Count data and Logs to record all location moves
  • Relocate parts and update system as required
  • Prior to end of shift all aisles are to be cleared of storage media and swept/cleaned as required
  • The housekeeping log located in the warehouse is to be kept up to date showing dates when and by whom carried out actions
  • Actively pursues and identifies root causes of non-conformance
  • Investigate and resolve root cause Quality Assurance deviances
  • Ensure that the operations, processes and procedures that affect product quality and/or integrity comply with standards established by the company
  • Manage and drive QA initiatives to improve Quality Performance regarding, packaging supplies, finished goods, and marketing materials
  • Implement procedures and systems to ensure high standards, including basic policies, programs and methodologies to ensure quality product and finished goods, packaging.
  • Use all data, available to proactively prevent Quality Control issues.
